churches

every time i take a trip to the inlaws house these days, i am awed by the number of churches i pass.  if you count the ones i don’t actually see, but know are there, in the five minutes that it takes to go two blocks, there are five.

five.

five separate buildings,  five separate denominations,  five separate pastors, with five separate congregations…. anyone else seeing a trend here?

separation.  among believers who are supposed to be united in one faith.

there is a bigger problem with religion in this country than i thought.  more on this soon.  the subject is gnawing at me.  i just need to give it a little more time to fester to the surface…
